People often look for a way to send someone to a new page after they submit a Google Form. Here is what Google Forms actually supports, and the usual workarounds.
What Google Forms supports natively
Google Forms lets you choose a confirmation message, and optionally show a summary of responses. The confirmation message can include a link, but it is not an automatic redirect.
Why the iframe trick is limited
Embedding a form in an iframe gives the illusion of staying on your site, but the confirmation step still happens inside the frame. Redirecting the parent page requires extra code, and some browsers restrict it.
The practical options
- Use a clear confirmation message with an obvious next-step link.
- Add a script or add-on if you can maintain it, and test it after every change.
- Use a builder with a built-in post-submit redirect if the next step is really important.
